It all seems pretty ‘hilly’ to me. Your mother-in- law is a star and one of the beautiful people we met along the way. Sorry I inadvertently removed your comment. Glen
It’s all well and good being impressed with three adequate cyclists being able to sit on a bike and pedal but in the end none of this was possible without a lot of help.
Micky and Duchess were with us every step of the way providing us prima donnas with anything we needed. The lovely ladies Ali, Emma and Penny who were supportive from the start and looked after everything whilst we were gone deserve a huge thank you. With out you all this would not have been possible.
Total raised so far is around £1500!
A few things happened on the final ride, firstly we were joined by friends in Redruth. Next came the traditional stop for coffee at Penzance where Clifford who had been immersed in ours ways for so long finally came over to the dark side and ordered a latte.
Then it was past the moving site of Penlee and up Mousehole hill. It was just after this point we reached over 1000 miles for our trip. Then the final run into Lands End.
I think I left them somewhere at Land’s End. I am particularly missing the smell of my gloves following their 1000 mile trip. Glen
